We had a very nice stay in Rome very close to the train station, all local amenities and restaurants/ cafes. The owner showed us the property. There was a bath. Location was convenient, not too far away from a late Medieval square. In fact, it was located in central Rome...

The Flavia Rooftop Apartments had a charming and vintage atmosphere, which I absolutely loved. The wood floors and classic-style furniture created a cozy and elegant ambiance. The common areas were beautifully decorated, providing a welcoming and comfortable space to relax. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The location was fantastic, with the main transport terminal just a short walk away. This made it easy for me to catch buses and trains to explore different parts of Italy. The iconic sites in Rome were also within a 20-minute walk, passing by shops, bars, and restaurants, offering me plenty of options to choose from.
If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, I would suggest better communication between the staff and the guests. It would be helpful if the children working there were more attentive and prompt in addressing any concerns or requests.

The rooftop terrace at this accommodation was a hidden gem. With its lush green plants and comfortable outdoor furniture, it felt like a small oasis in the heart of Rome. I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee there, feeling as if I was in a secret garden away from the bustling city. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the nearby landmarks like the Roman Forum and the Vatican City.
Cramped bathroom fixtures.

I absolutely loved the decor of the apartment. It had a charming and elegant style that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and spotlessly clean. As a senior person, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. It had an elevator which made it easy for me to move around without any trouble.
I would have appreciated some assistance from the children working there with my luggage upon arrival.

The apartment was impressive, with a fantastic roof terrace and a well-equipped kitchen. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We loved the peaceful neighborhood with plenty of dining options nearby. The location was perfect, within walking distance to major attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep, and the quiet surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable.
If you're not a fan of vintage-style accommodations, this might not be your top choice. Some of the fittings were a bit worn, such as a broken toilet seat and kitchen cupboard.

The apartment had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and a washing machine. The air conditioning was a lifesaver and kept the place at a perfect temperature. The best part was the beautiful rooftop terrace where we enjoyed eating outside. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, but there were plenty of great restaurants nearby filled with locals, not just tourists. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!
